The setting is UNBEATABLE and handy, so close to main attractions, the historical center of the town and both the good cafe's and restaurants and the starting point for hiking to Tsaravets. A triple room with great view of the fortress has basic facilities you need.

Make sure you stay in the a double room with the view amazing, an incredibly comfortable bed and the balcony. Our hotel is set in a central location adjacent to Bulgaria, and the good cafe's and restaurants. Again, it's 1 mile from St George Church.

The room had a rustic and cozy atmosphere that we loved, and it was well furnished with all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the hygiene products provided were of high quality. The host was attentive and helpful, always available through messaging apps to provide information and assistance. The location in the historical center of the town was perfect for exploring Veliko Tarnovo. we had a fantastic stay at Tsarevets Residence and would highly recommend it.
One small drawback was that our balcony was cold, which prevented us from fully enjoying the view. There was also occasional street noise, but it was manageable.

The hotel’s location is great as it’s near an old church, the city center and all of the main attractions. You can easily walk to all the main landmarks and places of interest. The traditional house is beautifully restored with good taste. The administrator is helpful and friendly, and breakfast is good. The room is clean and with a silent view of the city.
The hotel could use better heating during winter.
